How to pick a whole day of orders from one sheet.

Picksort turns all your open Shopify orders into a single, grouped pick and pack list you can print and work straight from the warehouse floor. Here’s the entire workflow, start to finish.

STEP 01 / OPEN

Open Picksort

From your Shopify admin, open Picksort. It immediately reads every open, unfulfilled order and shows them as Today’s Pick List, with the live open-order count at the top.

There’s nothing to import and nothing to configure — the consolidated list is ready the moment the page loads.

STEP 02 / GROUP

Choose how to group the list

In the Grouping panel, pick the view that matches how your warehouse moves. The quantities re-tally instantly when you switch.

VendorPick supplier by supplier — ideal for staging or multi-brand catalogs.
BinWalk the shelves in order using your bin locations. Items without a bin land under “Unassigned.”
SKUA flat master count of every SKU — the simplest total-quantity view.

STEP 03 / READ

Read the consolidated counts

Each row shows the item, SKU, total quantity, and bin. The quantity is summed across every open order, so a SKU that appears in ten orders shows up once with the full number to pick.

That’s the core idea: pick each SKU once, by the number — not order by order.

TipAnything showing “Unassigned” under Bin grouping just means that product has no bin-location set yet. It still appears — it’s simply ungrouped.

STEP 04 / PRINT

Print the pack sheet

Click Print to generate the pack sheet — a clean, grouped document with checkoff boxes, big readable quantities, and your store name and date in the header.

It’s laid out for a clipboard, not a screen. Print it once and your team picks the entire batch from a single sheet.

STEP 05 / ON THE FLOOR

Pick from your phone, too

On mobile, the same merged list collapses to a clean single column, so a picker can work straight from the phone in their hand between the shelves — then print the full pack sheet when it’s time to pack.

STEP 06 / REFRESH

Refresh as new orders arrive

Picksort reads your live orders every time. Hit Refresh before a pick run and the list reflects exactly what’s open right now — no stale exports, no re-importing.

Best practiceRefresh right before you print, so the sheet you hand your team matches the orders currently waiting.

Small habits that speed up picking.

BIN GROUPING

Set bin locations to unlock the bin view

Bin grouping reads a product’s custom.bin_location metafield. Fill that in on your products and Picksort will route your pick path shelf by shelf.

VENDORS

Keep product vendor fields tidy

Vendor grouping comes straight from each product’s Vendor field. Consistent vendor names mean cleaner groups and fewer stragglers.

ROUTINE

Pick in batches at set times

Instead of reacting to each order, run Picksort once or twice a day. One refresh, one print, one walk per SKU.

SAFETY

Nothing here touches your store

Picksort is read-only, so anyone on your team can open it, group, and print without any risk of changing or fulfilling orders by accident.
