Privacy Policy

Picksort is a read-only app. It reads your open orders and products to build a pick & pack list, and that’s all. It never edits your store, and it never sells your data.

Who this covers

This policy explains how the Picksort app (“Picksort,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you install and use it on your Shopify store. By installing Picksort, you agree to the handling described here.

What Picksort accesses

Picksort requests the minimum access it needs to do one job — turn your open orders into a pick list. It uses read-only Shopify scopes:

Picksort has no write access. It cannot edit, fulfill, cancel, or delete orders; it cannot change products or inventory; and it cannot access payment details, customer passwords, or anything outside the scopes above.

How that information is used

Order and product data is used solely to generate and display your pick list and printable pack sheet inside the app. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not share or sell it.

Customer personal data

Picksort’s pick and pack sheets are organized by product, vendor, and bin — not by customer. The app does not require, display, or store customer names, addresses, emails, or payment information to do its job.

Data storage and retention

Picksort reads your live store data on demand to render each list. We keep only the minimal records needed to operate the app (such as your shop domain and subscription status). If you uninstall Picksort, associated records are deleted in line with Shopify’s standard data-retention requirements, and you may request earlier deletion by emailing us.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. Limited infrastructure providers (for hosting and our database) process data strictly on our behalf to keep the app running. Shopify itself processes data under its own terms as the platform your store runs on.

Security

Access is authenticated through Shopify’s OAuth, all traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and access tokens are stored securely. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

Your choices

You can uninstall Picksort at any time from your Shopify admin, which immediately revokes its access to your store. To request a copy of, or deletion of, any data we hold, email us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
